Bank loans for rooftop solar installations for home

Public Sector Bank loans for rooftop solar installations for home

Public Sector Banks (PSBs) are to offer loans for rooftop solar installations  to home loan / home improvement proposals of individual customers.

Nearing Rs.7 per kWh without any subsidy, rooftop solutions have become feasible in India. Governement is providing 15 per cent subsidy on these insallations.

Some banks that have already issued instructions to start offering this loan. These are

State Bank of India

Dena Bank

Central Bank of India

Punjab National Bank
